I'm really excited to be a part of the Hellenic club this year. I got involved in the
club my first year here and have enjoyed the friends, memories, dancing, and food that has come along with it. This is a great group and we hope to promote our culture through events that will involve the entire San Luis Obispo community and give them an opportunity to join us.

I'm from Torrance, CA and am a 4th year Communications major here at Cal Poly. I am a proud Greek who enjoys all things Greek, especially being surrounded by my Greek friends, and right now I am wishing I were in Greece. I also love sports, playing, watching, and talking about them.

Dr. Vakalis is the Computer Science Department chair here at Cal Poly. Prior to coming to Cal Poly, Dr. Vakalis received his Ph.D. from Western Michigan University, was a fellow at the Ohio Supercomputer Center, and worked with the Ohio Board of Regents on computational science eduaction for high schools, community colleges, and undergraduate institutions.

I am a third year, computer science major here at Cal Poly. Growing up in Pasadena, I never went to Greek school, I never learned how to work a komboloi, and after being deemed "not Greek enough" by the instructor, I was never allowed to participate in FDF. So, with that said, I'll just stick to participating in the club and making websites.
